Kharlovka fishing report for week 35

Best 23 lbs for Sergey S (which ran away before the photo)
We had a group of 9 fly-fishers, 6 of them were our old friends, 3 of them new guests to the ASR.
Saturday was sunny, on Sunday the weather changed from sun to rain in the middle of the day. Monday was hard weather, heavy wind. Starting on Tuesday it has been raining up to the end of the week and getting colder and colder every day. Air changed from 17C on Saturday to 7C on Friday. Water temp dropped from 15C to 9C during the week. Despite the rain, the water level has been dropping during the week, as the ground has not been wet enough yet. The level was dropping from -16 to -19 and slowly started to rise just on Friday (up to -18).
Over the opening weekend the group caught 24 salmon.
Best were: 18,5 lbs for Artem (his PB) caught at Litza Rapids on a Sunray.
Also 18 lbs for Alexey E from the Upper Dream at Litza caught on a Hitch fly.
16 lbs for Andrey from the Litza Rugged Rock on a Cascade.
Mikhail caught his 1st salmon ever (7 lbs) and later during the day improved his PB to 11 lbs. Well done!
On Monday we caught 16 fish. Best was 14 lbs.
Alexey S caught his first salmon ever (7 lbs). Next day he improved his result to 11 lbs. And finally he caught 22 lbs at the Kharlovka Home pool in one of the mornings.
On Tuesday 17 fish were caught and released.
Best - 20 lbs for Artem (improved his PB and it's the first 20-lbs this week).
On Wednesday we caught 20 fish including 2 in the morning.
Biggest were:
23 lbs from Litza Low Tent, 21 lbs from Litza Tent, 20 lbs from Kharlovka Home pool and 19 lbs from Kharlovka Rock.
Vyacheslav caught 20 lbs in the morning on the Kharlovka home pool before breakfast.
21 lbs was a wonderful salmon from the Litza Tent caught by Sergey P on foam.
Alexander caught a solid 19-pounder at the Kharlovka Rock on the Orange&Black fly. During the whole week, Alexander caught 36 fish which is one of the best quantity results of the season.
The final two days of the week brought another 36 salmon for the group.
23 lbs caught by Sergey S became the Best fish of the week. It was so quick that ran away right from Sergey’s hands quite before the photo. Sergey finished the week with a wonderful result of 21 fish caught.
