Rynda. Week 24 – June 8 to 15, 2024
Spring on the Kola Peninsula is cold and late. The ice disappeared from the river two weeks later than usual. There is still a lot of snow along the banks. The water level is very high. Water temperature +3C.
Fishing was difficult during the first week of the season, but with some persistence and skill, our guests managed to catch some great salmon.
It is curious that the most fish were caught on Zolotaya, although this river usually starts working a little later than Rynda.
Highly sinking lines combined with Snaelda were the most effective tackle.
Cloudy weather with a cold fresh breeze from the Barents Sea gave way to clear sunny days. In general, it is our usual capricious spring on the Kola coast.
The awakening tundra is fresh and beautiful, and we are full of expectations of what this season will be like.
