Range of morning air temperature: 4-16°C.
Water temperature rose from 8 to 13.2°C.
Water level fluctuated due to precipitation from 51 to 60 cm.
Number of guests: 14
Total fish caught during the week: 56
Largest fish of the week: 35.5 lb (16.1 kg), length 111 cm, girth 64 cm. Caught by Egor at Eastern Litza, SnowBank pool.
Second largest fish: 32.5 lb (14.7 kg), caught by Maxim at Kharlovka, Rock pool.
Two hot days in the middle of the week were followed by a sharp cold snap. A strong rain came from the sea, which raised the water level in the rivers by more than 10 cm right before our eyes. Naturally, this affected the catch rate and comfort of fishing in many pools. However, this week's group of guests consisted of true veterans, who have seen all kinds of conditions here and have vast fishing experience.

The best angler of the week was Yuri, who caught 9 salmon during the week. He is a person with phenomenal fishing experience, whose fishing geography spans the globe. A very stable and confident result. At the same time, each guest caught their own fresh silver salmon. A mass of emotions, bites, and losses – this is the adrenaline that makes everyone return to the Kola Peninsula to the Home for Salmon year after year.
The change in weather and water level forces us to be flexible and to prepare for new conditions each day, continually finding the key to the fish. Veteran guides make every effort, share their experience and flies, and confidently assist guests on the river with choosing fishing spots and developing fishing strategies.
We await new trophies and proudly accept the challenges that the harsh Arctic brings.
