Rynda River

The Rynda and Zolotaya rivers flow through more moderate landscapes than Kharlovka and Litza. Guests will have to read the water and think carefully about each cast, as each of the fantastically named 75 pools is unique and requires a different approach. Wise is the one who approaches fishing on Rynda deliberately, and, despite his considerable experience, heeds the advice of the guide. They say these rivers are reminiscent of Iceland. And ... together with some of the most comfortable living conditions on the Kola, the Rynda is attracting more and more lady fishers!

Despite the fact that the spillway at Kharlovka and Litza is twice as large as at Rynda and Zolotoya, every year the total catch in terms of the number of salmon caught and released per season is approximately the same. The slight difference is in the size of the fish. The largest salmon ever caught in Rynda weighed 19.1 kg, and on the Litza was 21.8 kg.

The size and flow of the river is quite active and full of character. On the upper part of the river there are more rocky, steep and high pools that alternate between rapids. In the lower part of the river, where the Rynda camp is located, the banks are flatter and lower with free space everywhere. For 15 kilometers, the river has 3 amazingly beautiful waterfalls. The surrounding nature may seem harsh at first due to the small amount of vegetation, but soon everyone can feel the boundlessness of the majestic tundra and incredible serenity.

Rynda fish stats:

On average 32% of the salmon are larger than 6 kg

Rynda guests on average catch approximately the same number of fish per week as guests on the Kharlovka and Litza rivers at approx. 10 salmon a week on the season.
